Terms of Service

Traveller Counselling offers professional counselling over secure video link, using the third party service “Whereby.com”. All video links are fully encrypted and cannot be intercepted by other parties.

In order to set up online counselling sessions, counsellors require a contact phone number, which is collected via a secure form on the travellercounselling.ie website. This form is also encrypted and cannot be intercepted by unauthorised third parties.

All counsellors working for The Traveller Counselling Service are professionally qualified, accredited and insured. Confirmation of the above is the extent to which the travellercounselling.ie service is liable for their services and any disputes arising from using the service are between the counsellor providing the service and the client.

Counsellors endeavour at all times to provide a professional, safe service.  Counsellors endeavour to respond in a timely and professional manner to all requests via this website however these responses cannot be guaranteed.  In case of query please contact the Traveller Counselling Service at the contact details on the homepage of this site.

Clients engage with the service at their own risk and should be familiar with the potential limitations, shortcomings and risks associated with online counselling and therapy before engaging with the service.

Online counselling and therapy is not suitable for crisis intervention, urgent or dangerous situations. Clients should not engage with the travellercounselling.ie online counselling service under such circumstances. There are alternative services which are appropriate in these circumstances, examples of which can be found on the travellercounselling.ie website.
